Bar Hours.
From January the bar will be CLOSED Monday night unless there are meetings scheduled. Through January the bar will be CLOSED every Tuesday. You can come down to the bar New Years Eve until 8pm. A good time to finally get your Annual Dues in! The bar will be open on New Years Day from 10am until 6pm. After that "Devil take the hindmost"

Our Heartfelt Thanks:
Sofia and I thank every one at the club for their good wishes and prayers over the last month or so. I'm home (finally) I hope until mid April with only one more procedure. Then its spring time and we will both be too busy to be ill any more. Hope to see you all at the club or if not then see ya on the water. Our thanks to all again.

Highlights of the Holiday Hospitality weekend include:
Friday —Steak Dinner $20, 6 pm—8pm
Saturday afternoon —Lunch available by the SMYC Juniors $
Saturday—Lasagna Dinner, $10, 5pm-6pm; No Strings Attached plays 7-11 pm
Sunday afternoon — Food Raffles
Sunday—Pig Roast Dinner (Chicken also available) $15, 4pm—6pm
Monday—Morning After Breakfast, Cost: Donations accepted, 8 am-10 am.
Best dressed male and female pirate awards—dress up and join in the fun!

Donations of new items for club raffles throughout the weekend are greatly appreciated.
Last years Pirate theme was a huge success. Fridat Night will be Steak Night and Saturday's menu will be Lasagna.
Sunday (all day) is the big Pirate event. Live music will be featured all three days.

Storage Block Regulations:
There are new, minimum requirements for blocks to store boats at SMYC. These are new Rule Amendments and you must contact Rick Klamrowski if you are in any doubt. The Fleet Captain has the right to approve, or deny suitability of use, out of concerns for liability and safety of other members property

Sling Markings:
Please observe the rules requiring clear and visible sling markings for haul out/launch dates.
Post Haul Out Clean Up:
Grounds and Fleet Captain are asking that old blocks, stands, lumber and junk etc be removed from the South Wall area and around your immediate boat storage area no later than Oct. 30th. Don't forget to raise your piers. Two bolts required to secure them.
Water Services:
Water to the grounds and piers will be continued for the time being. At the first threat of frost the water lines will be drained and air blown. You must remove all hose pipes and similar gear from your piers as soon as possible. The club is not responsible for damage to this equipment.
